Inetimi Timaya Odon, famously known as Timaya was born on 15 August 1980 in Port Harcourt - Rivers State, Nigeria. However, the "Egeri Papa" originates from
Odi, Bayelsa state. br>
Timaya obtained his first school leaving certificate from Assemblies of God Nursery and Primary School,
while he attended Nkpolu Oroworukwu for his secondary school Education. He went further to Lagos Ikeja Grammar School where he bagged
his West African Seniol School Certificate.
In 2007, Timaya broke into limelight with his hit song labeled "Dem Mama". This song was produced by K Solo and it appears on
his debut album tagged "True Story". This album gained massive attention from fans all over the world.
The "Papi Chulo" as fondly called by some of his fans, has released several great albums so far. His albums includes; True Story - 2007,
Gift And Grace - 2008, De Rebirth - 2010, LLNP Long Life N Prosperity - 2011, Upgrade - 2012, Epiphany - 2014, Chulo Vibes EP - 2019,

Timaya is the founder and CEO Of Dem Mama records, a label imprint that once housed artistes like Patoranking and Runtown. In
