Born in Jos, Innocent Ujah Idibia professionally known as 2Baba is from the southern part of Benue State, Nigeria. The singer has established himself as one of Africa's most celebrated and successful Afro-pop stars of all time.
The African queen crooner was a member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz that dominated the music industry during the late 90's. This group was formed by himself, Blackface and Faze.
After the disbandment of Plantashun Boiz, 2Baba was signed to Kennis music in 2003 where he released his first solo project tagged "Face 2 Face", and a follow up album titled "Grass 2 Grace". The highly rated singer and song writer launched his own record tagged Hypertek music in the year 2006.
