Professionally known as Adekunle Gold, the highlife singer officially referred to as Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko was born on 28 January 1987 in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Adekunle Gold bagged a Higher National Diploma in Arts and Design from Lagos State polytechnic. However, the talented singer joined the YBNL family in the year 2015.

In the year 2015, the Nigerian highlife singer debut his first studio album captioned "Gold". This outstanding project houses hit songs like Orente, Sade and Pick Up.
